BLOG PAGE STYLE #2
Let’s start the day with a bit of fun…
Why did the tenant refuse to vacuum the carpet?
Because they thought it was beneath them!
And that my friends, is an attitude we find of a lot of tenants!
Going to a house and finding it unvacuumed isn’t that uncommon, which is why we insist on prevacuuming every job – it’s part of the Australian Standard AS3733 after all!
If it’s worth doing (and getting paid for it!), it’s worth doing it right and Fresh Aire will do it right every time, without fail, even if people think it doesn’t need a vacuum!
Property management can be a fun game at times!
Wow! I was so impressed. My carpets look amazing and like new. Carl was friendly and professional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends. Thank y
very pleased with the result- professional, thorough and friendly service- can highly recommend Franco and his team
Fully recommend fresh aire. Professional, excellent communication, hard working, flexible, great results, and very friendly. Definitely will use again. Delia
Reliable, efficient and friendly service. Carl left my carpets smelling so lovely and fresh. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.
Technician was very thorough & advised how to clean any big spills. I really appreciated he was running late by about 15 minutes but I received a text message.
Excellent service. Have used before and will definitely use this service again
Very happy with reception responses etc and to our cleaner Franco who arrived on time, was professional, pleasant and friendly.
Yep, think it is safe to say that our customers like us – so please remember us whenever you have tile, carpet, upholstery or leather that needs a spruce up
- We have one customer that is particularly interesting and had a job done by Carl this week.
- He and his wife are actually in the cleaning industry.
- In fact, it’s one of the larger companies.
- But it seems he trusts nobody but Fresh Aire to do their own home!
- Not sure if it’s an indictment or an honour, but it does amuse us!
- It seems even they have recognised the benefits of using Fresh Aire!
- Want the best for your customers, family, friends… self?
- Then you know who to call!
- We’ve come across a bunch of “stains” recently, of all shapes, colours and sizes
- Already attended by other carpet cleaners and deemed unremovable
- We’ve been called in as the “experts” – A quick application of detergent and stains magically disappear!
- Cowboy cleaners are rife at the moment and many people are having issues as a result
- Listen out for those people having issues and send them our way, we’ll be able to advise them on what can or can’t be done
- Where have all the good staff gone?
- Here’s a challenge for all of you: put a post on your own Facebook page to help us in finding a new team member!
- As many of you may know, we’ve been trying for the best part of a year to find someone with no real luck at all.
- But we are still remaining optimistic; there has to be someone out there that would love to join our team!
- To that end, I’m asking you all to help us find that team member rather than more customers this week!
- I can supply you with an outline to put up, please contact me if you are willing to do so and I can give you the details.
- Let’s put the Givers Gain principle to work!
Did a job a few days ago, fairly straightforward
Just your normal upholstery clean, nothing special, in a restaurant in East Vic Park.
Except in this case, really bright colours on a dark background
Been a few years since it’s last clean, so they were due, even though they didn’t look too bad. But new carpets going in, rest to match!
Did the first cushion, happened to look behind me as I changed tools – owners look was hilarious, the whole jawdrop thing
Let’s just day they were incredulous at how much brighter the fabric suddenly was, the colours really shone though
So if you hear of anyone looking to get some upholstery cleaned, be sure to put us their way.
Joke for this week…
Got home and someone has stolen all the bits of carpets and the mats. Police think it was the work of rug addicts.
But speaking of rugs, when was the last time you had yours cleaned? Especially if they are a more valuable type?
We do all sorts, including exotic mixes such as wool and viscose, wool and jute, linen and cotton, bleeder rugs, handmade Orientals, Persians, machine woven Belgians, True sisal… you name it, we’ll tackle it and get it done properly, like the rayon rug I tackled last Friday with a wine spill an dog vomit all over it that the owner had tried cleaning themselves with wool mix and bicarb!
Not something that happens quickly or cheaply, but if you have a rug that is out of the ordinary, we’ll be able to come up with a cleaning solution for it!
- This week has been the week of reports.
- Had a few customers with issues that needed a written report.
- Two examples were one with an alleged odour second a viscose rug with damage from coffee.
- First one was easy, the carpets were actually in perfect condition, the odour was emanating from the roof space in the apartment where the water came in.
- Second one was not so good from the rug’s point of view – it was damaged beyond repair.
- PS note that if she had arranged for it to be cleaned, it would have negated her insurance claim! So it was cheaper and more effective for her to claim than attempt a clean that we advised her would not work anyway!
- Both of these required a report for an insurance claim, both were duly done and despatched.
- If ever you have an issue that requires a report, remember that I am a WoolSafe registered inspector and trained to supply a professional report for these scenarios.
- We seem to be having a run with cats rather than dogs of late
- Been called out to several jobs with cat issues.
- Most have been due to urine deposits in the carpet, but also hade one with pulls all through the carpets!
- So, our job was to restore these carpets to their best possible condition – CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
- We managed to get the smells out, trim back the carpet pulls, remove the layers of cat hair and dander and get the carpets back to a presentable level.
- So don’t be a pussy, if you have issues or know anyone with pet issues, make sure you contact Fresh Aire Carpet Cleaning, we’ll live up to our name!
- Something we’ve been doing a lot of recently is getting into the protection racket.
- Can’t help it, with my being of Italian extraction 😛
- But in our case, it’s all above board and legit, all to do with protecting fibres from nasty incidents.
- We have two exclusive products, MicroSeal for petrochemical synthetics and Fiber Protector for cellulosic materials
- Both of them highly exclusive and both only accessible via Fresh Aire and very effective at protecting the fibres from all manner of nasties!
- If you know of anyone looking to buy a high-end suite that needs protection, please put them our way!
