Tiles are one thing that can be the bane of the householders existence. The grout lines just don’t clean up and people love to hate them as a result. We, on the other hand, love to love them! They respond well to a little bit of chemistry and our specialised tools, leading to a markedly […]

This week, Darren and I attended a quote for a PM. Already cleaned by another contractor, but a very ordinary job at best. The operator obviously had no training and was doing what they thought was the way to do it. But their best was far from adequate, and the $300 dollar charge they had […]

Sometimes, it’s good to know that you must be on the right track. Last week, the boys attended a job for a full house of carpet to be cleaned. Nothing unusual about that, sure except for one thing… This customer has been with us for 35 of our 36 years and has been happy each […]

Had a fun(?) commercial job with all 3 of us in attendance this week! A retail store in Perth, with some very exclusive rugs and upholstery to be done, with lots of our favourite viscose fibres. Some of the items were quite straightforward but others… next level silliness. Just the sort of thing you’d want […]

Well, that was interesting! Tuesday, Darren and I attended a job in North Coogee, beautiful house overlooking the ocean. The house was only a few months old, but the carpet had suffered a rather serios incident where their dog, currently on meds and needing to pee a lot, couldn’t get her attention in the middle […]

This week we were presented with a new challenge. A very high-end furniture boutique in Nedlands with lots of outdoor furniture, including 3 umbrellas. Covered in a myriad of spots from insects and… other flying critters! Very tall, very soiled and our challenge to get them clean! A little lateral thinking and we worked out […]

There is a carpet that does get sold quite a bit for both its luxurious feel and its ability to resist staining… but don’t believe the hype. I had one customer last week that had already had her carpet cleaned twice after her aging pup had had a wee accident. Both times the stain seemed […]

We had a customer this week that had bought a house a few years ago, with stains already pre-existing. The carpets had progressively worsened over that time, with some traffic areas being almost black! It was a case of either we could restore the carpets to a usable condition OR they replace them. As usual, […]

Sometimes it takes a trained and/or fresh set of eyes to look at a job to work out what is really going on.. Had a call a couple of weeks ago from a lady who’d had a bit of water damage, dealt with by another contractor. Once it was all done and dusted, a mark […]
