This week presented me with a job that was one of sentimental value. It was a 40 year old, polyester/cotton Jacquard lounge suite that the hubby had bought when he moved out of home. His wife wasn’t so keen on it, so the boys had inherited it when they left home, but now they no […]

Darren and I attended a job last week, repeat customer wanting the same job again. No Problems, 3 small lounge suites with some minor marks. But embarrassingly, we got a call back, saying that we missed a few spots on one settee! So off I went, to inspect and sort out the issue. I get […]

Prevacuuming is something we that we are required to do as per the Australian Standard AS3733 for carpet cleaning. Yet people often assume that their version of vacuuming of the carpet is enough – but this is rarely the case! Just this week, Darren had a job that he attended and as per our norm, […]

Reporting on carpet issues for warranty claims is another thing we do. This week I called in to inspect a complaint of colour variances on a job. Looking at the carpet. It seemed as though one side of the join was different in colour to the other side. But, when I played around with the […]

Yesterday, I attended a job that I’d had an emergency call on. Regular client, with a mischievous daughter who loves testing out her artistic skills – this time with nail polish on the staircase. Mum tried to do it herself, but just spread it! So, the call came through… She had done a great job […]
